When you instil love in your daily life, it affects those around you and creates sweet little happenings that make you so proud.
Is it possible to lie in a hammock without it being hijacked?! I think it could be renamed the Stacks On Swing Chair :)
When you secretly try and get some work done while the kids are happily playing on the deck!! They get points for being creative I guess :)
I love watching these two play together. They carry around basketballs as baby dragons and spend hours caring for garden snails. A block game starts with building them up and knocking them down. It soon takes a twist and a turn and a new momentum begins. There's laughter and squealing, tears, arguments, negotiations and apologies, all rolled into each day of play.
When I take these 4 to the beach there's no stopping them. Why I only took 1 towel and no back up shirts I'll never know!
We had a beautiful afternoon at the Noosa Summer River Festival. Of course my cheeky boys took to dancing in the river fully clothed. Why I didn't pack a single towel I'll never know.
Cuddles and kisses on the couch on bin truck day.
Afternoon play by the rock river garden.
Coming up to the end of the year I thought it was a good time for group photo of my four beautiful boys. Of course they had other ideas. Playing leapfrog in the grass and chasies seemed much more appealing.
It's amazing how much your own childhood can impact what you want for your children. Oh to be young, wild and free again!
This is how we roll in the middle of winter!! We are loving our new home and feel blessed to now be living so close to this amazing place.
As the final weeks went by I started to wonder if our new little bundle would ever arrive. My due date passed and one day later my body kicked into gear, and the familiar feeling of contractions came rushing back to me in full force. Knowing this would be my last pregnancy, I was determined to try and do this drug free. Putting complete faith in my body, I pushed through the pain and delivered a beautiful healthy baby boy naturally. It was the most difficult thing I have ever done but worth every second. The love I feel for him is just as immense as the love I have for my other 3 children. We all can't stop smiling at him.
According to the twins, our fish need a regular diet of leaves, rocks and sand.
Currently there are three little monkeys jumping, chasing, squealing and dancing up a storm daily. In a few weeks time, life is about to get real interesting when a fourth little monkey is added to the picture.
